Look What's New in 2025!

We have streamlined our ticketing process and added some exciting new features, too!  

You can now place your ticket orders with fewer clicks! The first time you order using our new system, you'll need to provide some basic information: name, email address, phone number, zip code, and a few other tidbits. It will be smooth sailing thereafter! 

So, what is new?  

  • Want to preorder a snack or beverage with your tickets? Add-ons are just a click away!
  • You can also donate to the Delphi Opera House as part of your purchase. Your donation helps us continue to provide quality programming and education opportunities!
  • How about a souvenir tote bag or mug? Or perhaps a gift for your Delphi Opera House enthusiast? That is just a click away as well.
    (Note that most of these souvenir items are produced on demand by our ticketing company and will require a few weeks to process.)

Here's to a banner year in 2025 as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary since reopening!

¡Mira lo que se viene en la Ópera de Delfos y Washington Street el 28 de septiembre! Marca tu calendario. Invita a tus amigos. Corre la voz. La entrada y el entretenimiento son gratuitos. Hay muchos puestos de comida y de artesanías para comprar y comer. Exhibición de arte en la galería y el salón de banquetes. Actuaciones dentro y fuera. ¡No te lo pierdas!

Look what's coming to the Delphi Opera House and Washington Street on September 28th!! Mark your calendars. Invite your friends. Spread the word. Admission and entertainment are free. Lots of food vendors and artisan vendors for shopping and eating. Art show in the gallery and banquet hall. Performances inside and outside. Don't miss it!

2023 Celebrated!

Dear Friends of the Delphi Preservation Society and Delphi Opera House:

Greetings of the season! This has been an exciting year of growth and ever-increasing community engagement. Working together, our organizations provide educational and entertaining programming and promote historic preservation. Please join us in continuing this important work.

Highlights of 2023 include:
  • The initiation of the Art Enrichment Program for Youth, reaching nearly 200 students (K-12) through a dozen classes in art, music, and dance, plus a week-long drama camp. Support for this program came from the Carroll County Community Foundation, The Arts Federation, REMC's Operation Round-Up, and private donations.
  • Two Red Brick Theatre productions and many concerts and shows, reaching thousands of happy patrons. We hope you were in the house!
  • The Walking Tour of Historic North Street on a beautiful September afternoon, showcasing some of Delphi's most historic homes.
  • The North Street Viaduct's appointment to the National Register of Historic Places and continuing work on the South Hill Residential District's appointment.
  • The third annual Limelight Legacy Event honoring Delphi native, internationally known recording artist, and pastor, RayGene Wilson. Proceeds from these events support the Legacy campaign, helping ensure the legacy of the opera house.
  • Recent grant awards are enabling the installation of track lighting in the banquet hall and a short-throw projector in the auditorium. These additions will allow for a new level of programs and shows! Stay tuned!
The work we do is only possible because of faithful volunteers and generous donors and members. If not already, please become a member and include DPS/DOH in your end-of-year giving. Memberships and donations may be made via check using the card below or via credit card online at www2.delphioperahouse.org. Joining online provides the option for easy automatic renewal. Limelight memberships can be paid monthly or annually. Our members receive discounts on shows!

Opera House History: 2017 Cook Cup

At the Indiana Landmarks' Rescue Party on April 29, 2017, the Delphi Preservation Society was honored with the Cook Cup for Outstanding Restoration for its decades-spanning restoration of the city's opera house.  Learn more about the restoration history and the Cook Cup Honor.
