Delphi High School will present the award winning, family favorite, Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, “The Sound of Music” on Friday, March 17th and Saturday, March 18th at 7:00 PM. The story takes place in 1938 in Salzburg, Austria. Maria Rainer, a nun in the Nonnberg Abbey is sent to the von Trapp household to be a governess to seven motherless children. Throughout the story, she brings joy, laughter, and music back into their house, winning the hearts of the children, as well as their father, Captain von Trapp.

Presented in the Delphi High School Little Theater.
Doors open at 6:00 P.M.• Open Seating • Play begins 7:00 P.M.

Tickets are $6 and are available online from the Delphi Opera House, at the Delphi Opera House box office, and at the door to the Delphi High School Little Theater beginning at 6:00 p.m. both evenings. If you purchase your tickets online, you may pick them up at the will-call table the evening of the event. You may also pick them up at the Delphi Opera House box office.

Delphi Opera House Box Office hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 109 S. Washington Street.
